In the previous post we learned that as a LEADER you have to take FULL responsibility of explaining the WHY of the mission to your team.
Here is what Jocko Willink, co-author and former SEAL officer says in Extreme Ownership:
“The leader must explain not just what to do, but why. It is the responsibility of the subordinate leader to reach out and ask Why? if they do not understand. Only when leaders at ALL (my emphasis) levels understand and believe in the mission can they pass that understanding and belief to their teams so that they can persevere through challenges, to execute the mission and win.”
We must do this too if we are to WIN and save ourselves in the USA!
