This cool technique was developed by Steffan Laudauer, vice president of leadership development at HP.
1. Each leader sends an email to each team member and even clients asking for feedback points for each person using START, STOP and CONTINUE.
2. Each member is then asked to share what a particular member should START, STOP or CONTINUE. This is done for EVERYONE and returned to the leader. The leader’s feedback is sent to another member of the team.
3. Now all the STARTs, STOPs and CONTINUEs are shared to show the trend/s. This way you might as the leader realize that a particular technique is not working.
4. Furthermore and more importantly YOU get feedback personally as to what you should START, STOP and or CONTINUE.
